Observer Effect in Human Relationships

In quantum physics, observing something changes it. They call it the observer effect. I sometimes feel the same happens in relationships. The moment we try to define something — love, friendship, meaning — it changes. Maybe some things are not meant to be measured. Maybe they are meant to exist without labels, like a quiet evening by the Hooghly.
