Are We Living in a Simulation? The Hindu View

Scientists like Elon Musk and philosophers like Nick Bostrom seriously ask: what if this is all a simulation?

Hindu philosophy asked this thousands of years ago.

“Maya” – the illusion. The idea that what we perceive as reality is not the ultimate truth. That we are all playing roles in a grand cosmic drama (Leela) created by the Divine.

Modern physics is catching up. Quantum mechanics shows that particles behave differently when observed. The universe seems to “render” reality only when we look.

So maybe the ancient sages were right. Maybe we’re characters in a story so vast and beautiful that we forgot we’re also the authors.

If that’s true, the question becomes: what kind of story do you want to live today?
